Sharing a meal, sharing a table, sharing something warm to drink. There is a holiness and a greatness to such small acts as these. Ceramics carries a long and humble history of these shared experiences, and it is, rightly so, the vessel passed from hand to hand as food is dished out and tea is poured.
With two handles and two spouts, this meal can be shared simultaneously. Two cups filled at once. In this world, the pour is endless, and the cup is always full. In this place, these two things are true: the door is always open, and I have enough for us.

The door is always open, I have more than enough for us. (Erika Denney)
