Aaron is a Chattanooga-based writer and visual artist driven by an unending commitment to building community. If you are reading this bio, your story and life matter to him. Through unbridled wonder, he pours his passion into every interaction, brushstroke, and sentence. There is not a crack in the sidewalk that does not fascinate him, nor a color choice he does not want to ask about. Whether it’s dancing to the 1975 when no one is looking, engaging with pen and paper, or slinging some seriously bright colors, he is inspired by the mad, rad off-kilter moments of life. His works – whether fiction, poetry, or visual– are all about creating a snapshot that lingers and haunts. Inspired by Elise Cowen, Sylvia Plath, Flannery O’Connor, Wiley Cash, and Harry Crews, his mind constantly wades in the dark hope of the South. Massive contradictions and bigger questions drive the narratives while he asks you one question: “Will you stay with me until the end?”
